DJ Eva Maria, La Gabachita Kumbiambera is creating a space in Chicago for Kumbias to cultivate and thrive through her event series “Noche de Kumbia” (NDK). In the most recent NDK, she collaborated with musician Rudy de Anda and artist Lisette Zetina to raise funds for the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago. A couple days after her September set at “La Megamezcal Kumbiambera” in Los Angeles, Eva spoke with us at Research Vintage.
